ARC Perinatal Prescribing Intensive

For Healthcare Professionals

A 6 week accelerated program for confident, defensible prescribing in pregnancy.

Perinatal prescribing requires structured decision-making in the context of incomplete data, competing guidelines and variable clinical presentations.

This intensive program is designed for healthcare professionals who require a clear, clinically rigorous approach to psychopharmacology in pregnancy and the postpartum period.

The ARC Perinatal Prescribing Intensive integrates applied perinatal psychopharmacology with a formal decision-making framework, combining evidence review, clinical reasoning and real-world case application.

The program is led by dr Elsa du Toit, a perinatal psychiatrist with over 25 years of clinical experience and a PhD in maternal health, ensuring alignment between evidence, clinical applicability and real-world constraints.

What my clients have to say!

”

The workshop was extremely beneficial and has improved my prescribing knowledge and inspired me to do more reading on maternal mental health topics and women's mental health in general.

”

This has been a topic I’ve been longing for in a workshop as it’s a special interest area of mine, and providing evidence-based treatment in this part of a woman’s life is so important and so poorly understood by most doctors.

”

I found the content was expertly curated, highly informative & addressed the complexities of medication management during pregnancy and the postpartum. I especially appreciated the balance between evidence-based guidance and practical case examples which made the material both accessible and clinically relevant. I feel more confident in supporting my patients and families during this critical time.
